Accessibility Statement

Petite Skin Co. is committed to making our website usable for as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. We want every parent to be able to read about our products, understand what's in them, and complete a purchase without barriers.

This statement explains where we're at, what we're doing, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the internationally recognised benchmark for web accessibility. These guidelines are referenced by the Australian Human Rights Commission as the practical standard for meeting obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

We consider our website to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet fully meet it. We're actively working to close those gaps.

What we've done

We design and maintain our site with accessibility in mind. Steps we take include:

  • Using clear page structure and headings so content can be navigated logically
  • Writing descriptive text for images so they make sense when read aloud
  • Maintaining readable colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Supporting keyboard navigation, so the site can be used without a mouse
  • Labelling forms and buttons so they work with screen readers
  • Allowing text to be resized and the page to be zoomed without breaking the layout
  • Testing against current browsers and assistive technologies, and reviewing the site regularly as we make changes

Known limitations

We're honest about where we're not there yet. We're aware of the following:

  • Third-party content. Some features on our site are provided by external tools, for example, our customer review display, social media embeds, and certain checkout and analytics elements. These are partly outside our direct control, and they don't all fully meet the standard. We raise issues with our providers and update or replace tools where we can.
  • Ongoing improvements. As we add new pages, products, and features, some may not meet the standard immediately. We review and correct these as part of our regular site maintenance.

If you come across something we haven't listed here, please tell us — it genuinely helps us fix it.

Petite Skin Co has products that are safe for my sensitive children. Both suffer from winter dermatitis but not when they follow their daily skin care routine with petite skin care. Slow start - My first skin routine

We got our then 8 now 9 year old the my first skin routine for Christmas. After showing her the video and how to use the products she wasn't that enthusiastic however this morning 6 months later I over heard her telling her little brother 7 all about it and how nice the sunscreen is and that it's easy to use. I'm happy to have found a product (sunscreen) that she will use every morning without being told (Queensland sun) and that she has the other products to wash it off before bed, I can see how much she loves it even if she won't tell me.

Pre Teen Skin Care 🏆 win!

I have a beautiful pre teen (11F) who started breaking out last year. I knew my own skin care would be too harsh on her skin, so I did a fair bit of research on what’s good for little ladies and I wanted a more natural alternative for her.

The cleanser foam worked a treat, she loves the heart face scrub tool and she cleared up in less than two weeks! We are from a working class family - so the price did set me back a bit, I’ll admit, it is the only thing that would deter me from purchasing it as a new buyer - but it works!!!
And for my little lady to have that confidence in herself, you can’t put a price on it!
So I recommend!
Lowering the prices would make it more affordable for all families given the current economic climate… but that’s not to say I haven’t recommended it to all my friends with pre teens!

We bought our first pack last year (2023) around May/june and she’s just run out of foam last week!! (March 2024!) with a once- twice a week routine when she isn’t breaking out and every second day when she’s “extra hormonal”!
The deodorant was a bit ‘eh’ in her words, so she doesn’t use it, but there is a sunscreen alternative we will try this time around!

She still has plenty of moisture, so value for money, we will buy another whole set!

Best skin care for Pre Teens!

We saw the Petite skin care range online and our pre teen daughter wasn’t doing too well emotionally since her hormones have started going crazy and her skin broke out so badly!

Figured why not and purchase a beginner pack!
Absolutely love it! Even the worst pimples disappeared in three days max!!! She has her confidence back and her skin is beautiful!

A little pricey, I will admit, but the results speak for themselves!!

The foaming face cleanser is a favourite in our household! My 8 year old daughter loves her sport, but the build up of sweat & sunscreen has just started to cause some minor breakouts and I believe this cleanser is really helping.
