Getting Started & Age

There's no single right age ,it's more about when you notice a change, whether that's oiliness, dryness, or the first breakout. Most of our customers start between 7 and 10 with a simple cleanse-and-moisturise routine, and add more as their skin's needs change.

A simple two-step routine works for most 12 year olds: a gentle cleanser morning and night, followed by a moisturiser suited to their skin (oily, dry, or in-between). Kits like the Daily Duo take the guesswork out of picking products separately.

We use both terms for the same thing ,products formulated for ages 7 to 14. "Kids" tends to describe younger customers just starting out; "tween" is more common once breakouts or oil control become the focus.

Ingredients & Safety

The Confetti Collection Face Cleansing Foam smells like ice cream while the Crosses Collection Face Cleansing Foam smells like lemonade ice blocks (all natural of course!).

Aloe Vera Juice is a natural moisturiser which hydrates the skin.

Skin Concerns

Tween skin doesn't usually come with a "sensitive skin" label, it just reacts to things adult skin doesn't.

Our whole range is formulated without artificial fragrance, parabens or sulphates, using a shorter ingredient list than most adult skincare, because young skin doesn't need convincing with actives, it needs less to react to.

The Hydra Balance Face Mist ($34) and Face Moisturiser ($36) are the two products parents usually reach for first when a kid's skin has started looking blotchy or tight.

Oily skin in tweens is often treated the way adult oily skin is, stripped and dried out, which tends to push oil production up, not settle it down. The Face Moisturiser ($36) is formulated to hydrate rather thin strip, so it isn't fighting the skin into overcompensating. Paired with the Hydra Balance Face Mist for a midday top-up, it's the combination most parents land on for kids whose skin gets shiny by lunchtime.

Most "gentle" cleansers on the shelf are adult formulas with the strength turned down. Ours are built from a different base for a different job, the Face Cleansing Foam ($36) is formulated by Australian chemists specifically for the pH and oil balance of skin aged 7–14, not scaled down from an adult product. It's a foam, not a gel, which most kids find easier to rinse off fully without leaving residue behind.
