Petite Skin Co. is committed to making our website usable for as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. We want every parent to be able to read about our products, understand what's in them, and complete a purchase without barriers.

This statement explains where we're at, what we're doing, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the internationally recognised benchmark for web accessibility. These guidelines are referenced by the Australian Human Rights Commission as the practical standard for meeting obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

We consider our website to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet fully meet it. We're actively working to close those gaps.

What we've done

We design and maintain our site with accessibility in mind. Steps we take include:

Using clear page structure and headings so content can be navigated logically
Writing descriptive text for images so they make sense when read aloud
Maintaining readable colour contrast between text and backgrounds
Supporting keyboard navigation, so the site can be used without a mouse
Labelling forms and buttons so they work with screen readers
Allowing text to be resized and the page to be zoomed without breaking the layout
Testing against current browsers and assistive technologies, and reviewing the site regularly as we make changes

Known limitations

We're honest about where we're not there yet. We're aware of the following:

Third-party content. Some features on our site are provided by external tools, for example, our customer review display, social media embeds, and certain checkout and analytics elements. These are partly outside our direct control, and they don't all fully meet the standard. We raise issues with our providers and update or replace tools where we can.
Ongoing improvements. As we add new pages, products, and features, some may not meet the standard immediately. We review and correct these as part of our regular site maintenance.

How to Use

1. Apply sunscreen to the brush head or dot directly onto the face
2. Use gentle circular or sweeping motions to blend evenly over the face, neck, and ears
3. Allow at least 10 minutes before sun exposure
4. Reapply every 2 hours during extended outdoor activity
5. Clean brush after each use: rinse bristles under warm water, reshape, allow to air dry face-down
6. Replace when bristles begin to splay permanently

Are your products organic/natural?

Yes, all our products are made with organic and natural ingredients. We are committed to using only the highest quality, ethically sourced organic materials in our formulations.

Do your products suit sensitive skin?

Our products are formulated with gentle, natural ingredients that are typically well-suited for sensitive skin. However, we always recommend patch testing a new product before full application.

My child has eczema-prone skin, can they use this?

We can't give medical advice, so check the full ingredient list (printed on every product page) with your GP or pharmacist.

What we can tell you: there are no synthetic fragrancesno, harsh actives, and nothing in there we wouldn't put on our own kids.

Is this different from adult skincare?

Very. Adult products are built for adult skin concerns and often carry actives that young skin doesn't need. This was formulated from scratch for kids and tweens by an Australian brand that only makes products for this age group.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Absolutely. We do not test any of our products or ingredients on animals, and we ensure that our suppliers adhere to the same ethical standards.
